Now we truly have begun there is much to do. My head is spinning in several dimensions. This evening I will apply my mind to the question of 38 Degrees and hopefully post something intelligible if not intelligent tomorrow.
If we decide to do something topical then there are certainly plenty of aspects of the forest thing we could do, not just the 38degrees protest but anti-logging, rain forest, history, environment, natural history, specific locations etc. There is masses of info on the net. A good starting point however is the Guardian on-line site where a whole range of stories about the forests, English and worldwide too, are brought together on their environment page. There are links and comments on each story as well as some striking photos which might spark our visual imaginations. I'll try pulling a few specific stories out myself but if you want to look for yourself go to http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/forests
